138 | Losing 72 kgs and Gaining Back Life - With Jackie Mantzouratos

Transformation (1).jpg

Today's episode is for anyone out there who's been told they CAN'T do something, who are on the verge of giving up on themselves and feel that their goal is impossible - tune into this inspiring interview with Jackie Mantzouratos.

Being obese as a teen and told by doctors that there was a 0.001% chance she could lose her weight without surgery, Jackie has gone on to lose 72 kgs (159 lbs) naturally and proved that what IS possible starts and ends in your own mind.

Jackie hit rock bottom on a trip to Greece where she had to buy 2 plane seats and could barely walk for more than a few minutes at a time, and in that moment she showed that we always have a CHOICE - to wallow in self pity or take responsibility for our own actions and belief in ourselves. She chose the latter - and day by day, little by little, step by step - Jackie has gone on to not only transform her body but her mind in the most extraordinary way.

I encourage EVERYONE to listen to her bravely share her journey - not just the highlights, but the lowlights and those moments that many of us hide in shame from- as proof that we ALL have the ability to grow and improve with effort no matter where you start.

No matter how high the mountain or how messy the journey, that next step forward after falling down is always your choice. Always.
