180 | Q&A on All Things Social Skills!

This episode shares Q&A from my new book (which you can check out here!) to help you build upon your social skills & confidence!

Here are the 8 questions I answer for you:

1. I want to wear my favorite outfit to school, but last time I did, the most popular girl in my class made fun of me. What should I do?

2. Every time I have to pair up with someone in science class, I get anxious about who will be my partner. How do I avoid this feeling, and how do I make sure I don’t end up alone?

3. My parents keep telling me to spend less time on my phone because it’s bad for me, but it’s the main way I keep in touch with my friends when we’re not at school, so I argue with them all the time about it. It makes things tense around the house. How do I get them to change their minds?

4. I’m in a group chat with my friends, but lately, a lot of the talk has been gossip about another student in my grade. I feel mean being a part of it and keep telling them to stop talking about her, but they just ignore me. Do you have any other suggestions?

5. I think I like my crush more than they like me, and I’m really embarrassed about it. Is there a way to get them to like me more?

6. I get really stressed when friends post ugly photos of me online like when my eyes are closed or I have no makeup on. I can’t ask them to take the photos down because there are other people in the photo. How can I not let these ugly pics worry me so much?

7. I’ve just moved up a level in soccer, so now I’m playing with people better than me and I can’t keep up. How can I feel more confident on this team so I don’t completely mess up this opportunity?

8. My best friend and I recently had a fight where they called me two-faced and it made me so mad. This fight has been dragging on for a while now but I can’t let it go. How can I move past this?
