136 | "I Don't Know'' - Why You Need to Eliminate It From Your Life

Overcoming fear and confusion.jpg

I don't know which course to choose.

I don’t know how to create a podcast.

I don’t know how to answer that question for homework.

I don’t know what to say to my crush if I spoke to him.

I don’t know how to be open with my parents about my sexuality.

"I don't know..'' -

The 3 words that sound innocent, but are killing your progress and keeping you stuck. Confusion is a drain on your energy that's about as useful as the ''k'' in knife - it serves no purpose.

That's why in this episode I give you a tough-love talk on why you need to no longer allow the ''I don't know'' voice be an excuse not to do something.

Because if you dig beneath the surface, we're often saying ''I don't know'' out of fear of failure or FOMO - which again, are just excuses.

I also share with you how I coach myself through moments when I genuinely do not understand something or unsure of which is the best choice so I KEEP MOVING FORWARD by taking action and being decisive.

THAT's what helps you progress and achieve your goals - not making ''perfect'' decisions, but by MAKING them.

Because time is the most precious resource you have and spinning in indecision wastes it away more than anything - and you learn zero from it.

So take control over your future and tune into this episode - I promise if you apply what a teach in this, it'll change your life.

I am so excited to announce that my new book, The Teen's Guide to Social Skills, is now available on Amazon.com !

In celebration of this, I give you a sneak peek into my book by sharing a snippet of the first chapter and also give you the ability to download ALL of CHAPTER ONE by visiting my website: www.katefitzsimons.com/free-chapter
